Parmenter has dedicated the past 26 years of her life to providing medical services for seniors and veterans.<\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\">\u201cWe are thrilled to appoint Parmenter to medical director for PACE. Her heart for the community and passion for supporting patients and their families is truly inspiring,\u201d said executive director of PACE GNO Antonio Dias. \u201cAs she steps into this new role, we look forward to\u00a0benefiting from her years of valuable experience so that we can continue to provide a\u00a0comprehensive package of health services for elderly individuals in our care.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\">Prior to PACE, Parmenter served as an RN working in Intensive Care at different facilities, before going to medical school and eventually relocating to Florida where she spent a number of years providing senior care services with her own private practice, along with teaching and mentoring students and residents of Lake Erie Osteopathic Medical School. Parmenter then went on to serve women veterans in a Women\u2019s Clinic of North Carolina and in the Florida Healthcare Systems and has since practiced at Federally Qualified Health Centers, such as Daughters of Charity, in New Orleans for the past several years.<\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\">\u201cI have always maintained a strong belief in service to others and supporting patients and their families to the best of my ability,\u201d said Parmenter. \u201cI look forward to helping further the mission of PACE Greater New Orleans and giving back to the city and community I fell in love with as soon as I visited.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\">PACE GNO is an affiliated ministry of CCANO, which provides a comprehensive network of social services that connects clients to resources and acts as a springboard to self-sufficiency for those struggling in the eight civil parishes of the Archdiocese of New Orleans.
