Catholic Charities offers free English as a Second Language (ESL) classes for adults in Orleans and Jefferson Parishes. Each year, we help hundreds of learners from over 40 countries improve their English skills to succeed in their daily lives.<\/p>\n<p>Whether you\u2019re new to the U.S. or have lived here for years, our classes are designed for you.<\/p>\n<p><strong>About Our ESL Program<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Our ESL program is designed to help adults who speak languages other than English improve their communication skills in everyday life. Whether you need English for work, school, medical appointments, or community activities, our classes focus on practical language skills like speaking confidently, understanding conversations and written materials, expanding vocabulary, and improving grammar. We offer group classes and one-on-one tutoring to support your learning. The program lasts 11 weeks, with new sessions starting regularly, including our upcoming <strong><u>FALL SESSION beginning October 6, 2025<\/u><\/strong>.
