Now, give with ease through PayPal using our Givezooks! Campaign page! For over 40 years, Catholic Charities Archdiocese of New Orleans has provided thousands of local children with a strong foundation in life through Head Start, while also providing support for the whole family.<\/p>\n

Ms. M, a single mother of five children, came to the Head Start program at Incarnate Word unemployed and homeless. Her two older children were already enrolled in the public school system and getting her three younger children into the Head Start program would be the start of moving her family towards self-sufficiency. One of the children was able to enroll early when an opening became available in the program before the term ended. The Family Service Worker at the Head Start center immediately began working closely with Ms. M, helping her access online resources,write a resume and hone her interviewing skills. With the availability of the Head Start program\u2019s services and the Family Service Worker\u2019s help, Ms. M was able to obtain both housing and employment.The Family Service Worker continued to provide the support Ms. M and her family needed to continue moving forward.<\/em><\/p>\n
